Accessibility statement
K&H Bank Zrt. is committed to making its services accessible to people with disabilities. To this end, we continuously improve our services and the user experience in the digital environment, and comply with the prevailing accessibility standards.
K&H Bank Zrt. ensures the accessibility of its services through the following measures:
- We provide regular accessibility training for our staff.
- We use standardised accessibility quality assurance methods.
- We review the accessibility statements requested from our external software suppliers and inform them of any problems identified during testing.
- We continuously collect and integrate user feedback into our system/service enhancements.
- We conduct both internal and external audits of our user interfaces and applications.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) explain how to make the internet more accessible for people with disabilities. The Guidelines identify three levels of conformance: levels A, AA and AAA.
The kh.hu website and our digital services are partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA, which means that some of the content does not fully meet the accessibility standard. All future development will be designed and implemented with accessibility in mind to improve user experience and accessibility.

Compatibility with browsers and assistive technologies
The kh.hu website and our digital interfaces are compatible with the following assistive technologies:
- Screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack)
- Voice recognition software (Dragon, solutions built into the operating system)
- Alternative keyboards and switch controllers
- Operating system and browser-level readability settings (e.g. reading mode)
The kh.hu website
- supports only the three latest major versions of browsers (e.g. Internet Explorer 10 and earlier versions are not supported).
Technical specifications
The following technologies facilitate the accessibility of the kh.hu website and our digital services:
- HTML
- WAI-ARIA
- CSS
- JavaScript
These technologies are essential to meet accessibility standards.
Constraints and alternatives
Despite our best efforts, there may be shortcomings in terms of accessibility on the kh.hu website. Below we describe the known limitations and the possible solutions. If you encounter any problems other than those listed, please let us know.
We are aware of the following constraints on the kh.hu website:
- Some images do not contain appropriate descriptive alternative text. We are continuously working on this.
- The focus styles on certain user interface controls do not ensure sufficient contrast.
- In their current version, our calculators do not work properly with all screen readers.
K&H mobilbank
K&H mobilbank is available on iOS and Android, partly with native development and partly with web technology. The main screens of the application can be used with screen readers (VoiceOver, TalkBack).
We are aware of the following issues:
- Certain buttons do not have an audio label
- Focus management is inadequate in some screens
- Special settings may result in navigation difficulties
We are working on improving accessibility and will post our conformance level on the store page of the mobile app in the future.
K&H e-bank
In its current form, K&H e-bank is not conformant with WCAG 2.2 AA requirements.
Existing weaknesses include:
- the screen reading technologies are not working properly
- the contrast ratio does not meet the specifications in several places
- focus management is unclear or incomplete
- the page is not responsive, and has limited accessibility on mobile screens
- keyboard (tab) navigation is not available
We will take into account accessibility aspects when designing the future upgrades of the interface.
Third-party content
Our websites and digital services run several third-party components and services (e.g. maps). We cannot always directly verify their accessibility, as developments carried out by third parties are beyond our control. Nevertheless, we strive to integrate them into our existing systems as well as possible, and report to the service providers any problems we may detect.

Evaluation method
K&H Bank applies the following approach for assessing conformance with accessibility standards: we use a combination of external and internal methods for evaluation, taking into account WCAG requirements and user feedback. The development and monitoring of accessibility is a continuous and integral part of our operation and development.
ATMs
Currently, more than 90% of our ATMs are accessible. All our ATMs have the following accessibility features:
- screen readers to assist the visually impaired,
- headphone jacks,
- alert options using multiple sensory channels,
- the possibility to extend the time limit
- physical buttons with tactile markings.
We are committed to constantly increasing the number of our accessible ATMs.
Bank branches
Currently, 82% of our branches are accessible, and we are dedicated to taking into account the specific needs of people with disabilities when designing future branches.
When being served in our branches, disabled customers receive priority service and assistance from our staff as they move around the branch.
Our staff receive special training on how to serve people with disabilities.
