K&H go! paralympic card programme

A sound financial background is indispensable to successful preparation for and participation in the biggest international tests of endurance. K&H Group with its quality services and commitment to Hungarian sport has been Hungarian Paralympic athletes’ reliable partner for years.

Sponsor of the Hungarian Paralympic Team since 2006, K&H also supports the Paralympic athletes themselves. For every HUF 1,000 spent using a K&H Visa Classic embossed debit bank card K&H Group contributes 1 forint of its own money to helping para-athletes lead a full life and prepare for outstanding achievements.

The three beneficiaries of the “K&H Go!” Paralympic card programme were chosen by the general public in 2016, just like the year before. Votes for the candidates proposed by the Hungarian Paralympic Committee in three categories (i.e. adult, promise and Paralympic assistant) were accepted during April. The winners were: powerlifter Nándor Tunkel –– adult; swimmer Bence Iván –– promise; and track-and-field athlete Péter Molnár –– assistant. The three winners were awarded HUF 800,000 before tax each, disbursed to them in HUF 200,000 tranches throughout four months.

In 2019, the three award winners of the ‘K&H Go!’ Paralympic card programme were selected by a professional jury. A winner was named in each one of the three categories (i.e. Adult, Hope and Helper) from among the candidates shortlisted by the Hungarian Paralympic Committee. In the Adult category, the winner was world champion athlete Luca Ekler; in the Hope category, world champion kayaker-canoer Péter Pál Kiss; and in the Helper category, dr. Edit Kovács Varjasné. The three winners received a gross amount of HUF 1,000,000 each.
